Royal Baths Park is called “the happiest place in Warsaw”. It is a palace and garden complex founded in the 18th century. The name of the complex comes from the seventeenth-century baths of the Polish nobleman, rebuilt in the 18th century into the palace.

In the area of ​​the Lazienki Park we can see the famous Palace on the Isle, the Amphitheatre, Myslewicki Palace, Old Orangery, White Pavilion, Hermitage, Egyptian Temple, Fryderyk Chopin monument and Belweder. The park itself consists of three gardens: the Royal, Belvedere and Modernist one.

Lazienki Park is located almost in the center of Warsaw, south of the Old Town, you can get here, for example, by buses departing from Krakowskie Przedmiescie.

The stylish interiors of the Palace on the Isle accomodates a magnificent Museum, there are many works of art and objects from the period. On the ground floor are: Bacchus Room, Ballroom, Portrait Cabinet, Rotunda with statues of the rulers, Picture Gallery, Chapel or Dining Room, memorable from the royal “Thursday Lunches”. On the first floor you can admire old royal apartments.

The park surrounding the Palace was built in the years 1774-84. It combines elements of a regular French garden with a landscaped English park and extends over a large area. Warsaw residents and tourists love to walk here, so it is often crowded. The gardens are available until dusk, and there is also a lying zone, open every day during the opening hours of the historic Garden, located near the New Orangery.

Interestingly, during the summer in the Lazienki Park, live concerts are organized at the Fryderyk Chopin monument, always attracting a large audience.
